Harrison Ashby gone to Newcastle.

Not sure if this is old news but he left this morning. Did not want to extend his contract with us.

Newcastle have agreed a deal worth up to £3m for West Ham defender Harrison Ashby.
The 21-year-old Scotland Under-21 international, who joined the Hammers as a youngster and has made seven appearances for the senior side, will have a Newcastle medical on Monday.
His contract is due to expire in the summer and he told West Ham he was not willing to sign an extension.

As I've said before, I'm much less worried about average academy players leaving us than I am about us only having average academy players

It's all very well winning stuff at u18 but it very rarely translates to Premier league players for the first team for us. For that reason I dont really care.

Rice made 15 starts in his first full season, his first on 13th August. Of course he was a squad player.
